About the Project

Saturn Global Foundation organised and funded the creation and rollout of Corona Safe Network to fight the spread of the novel Corona virus in the state of Kerala.

Problem Statement

The problem faced by all states in India is the lack of live data systems that provide information on either patient inflow or the total capacity of the healthcare system, at the unit level on the ground or at the aggregate level at village panchayat, district, and state levels. The virtual infrastructure to aggregate this data and subsequently manage disease and disaster relief efforts does not currently exist in the country.

Mission and Strategy

The goal of the Corona Safe Network is to protect the state of Kerala from the spread of the coronavirus by preventing its medical system from being overwhelmed by an overload of patients.
