Social Welfare Assistance

SGF provides assistance across the entire spectrum of the economically weaker sections of the society in providing financial assistance to victims of accidents, snake bites, hospitalisation due to illness etc.

Bringing joy and opportunity to young hearts—every child deserves a place to play and grow. SGF constructed an Indoor Court for the Govt. L P School Maruthumkuzhi, Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum. The Trustee / Secretary of SGF, Mr. Chandramohan Pillai was honoured by the school Head Mistress and the PTA members.

Hridayathalam

A project – “Hridayathalam” – nurtured by Shri. Dr. K J Yesudas that took up the cause of treatment / operation for heart patients from the economically backward people of our society, was one of the beneficiaries to which SGF assisted.

Dr. K.J. Yesudas, awarded the Padma Vibushan, the second highest civilian award bestowed upon him by the Government of India, is a legendary singer and an icon, beyond compare, and to his credit is over hundreds of thousands of renditions, not just in Malayalam but also in Hindi, Tamil and a slew of other Indian languages.

Travancore Royals Football Club (TRFC) managed by Travancore Royal Sports Society is a non – profit society in which the Managing Trustee Mr. Sanil Kumar was a very active benefactor. The mission of this sports society is to provide equal opportunity and a safe environment that encourages greater participation by the
underprivileged, girls and women and every aspiring footballer.

SGF associates with Rural Health Centre, Vakkom

Rural Health Care Centre situated at Vakkom Panchayat, Trivandrum the Capital City of Kerala under the aegis of the Grama Panchayat is a registered Government Organization which is deeply devoted and dedicated to Pain & Palliative Care.

From the economically backward section of society, the Centre has over 200 registered patients, under the Pain & Palliative Care Unit.

On realizing the acute need for these registered patients SGF sponsored bedsheets and towels to all of them on the occasion of their ‘Kudumba Sangamum’, their family annual get together on 25th March 2023.

SGF supports inmates of Gandhi Bhavan

Gandhi Bhavan situated on the banks of Kallada River in Kundyam, near Pathanapuram of Kollam District, Kerala State takes care of more than 1,200 destitute and abandoned people of different ages ranging from months old babies to senior citizens, all inmates in Gandhi Bhavan

We SGF, are proud to be associated with Gandhi Bhavan.

As part of it’s initiatives in assisting the needy and underprivileged, SGF sponsored 4000 bedsheets and towels to all of the inmates of Gandhi Bhavan on 16th April, 2022.

Seva Bharathy Vidya Mandir, Thiruvananthapuram

It is a primary school, SGF funded the construction of a new Toilet Block for the children, a project that cost INR 2.75 Lakhs.

Agasthya Kudeeram Balika Sadanam Kottor Thiruvannthapuram

The Agastaya Sadanam managed by Sevabharathi Trust takes care of 30 girls from the tribal community and from the economically weak background.

For the inmates of the Sadanam, SGF provided a state of the art Sewing Machine having many features and a Samsung Tab. Besides, for the residential inmates gifted them 35 pillows and covers and dresses for 13 girls. 

In the ‘Jana Samparka Paripadi’ (JSP) a program initiated by the then Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy in which Trusts / Organizations and Individuals were called to take part to sponsor houses for the weaker sections of the society, Mr. Sanil Kumar sponsored the amount needed for the construction of a house in Trivandrum for which he was felicitated by the CM and the District Collector. The then Chief Minster Shri. Oommen Chandy had initiated a state wide program in all district headquarters where he met the common people on a one-to-one basis to understand their problems and grievances faced and to solve through a single window initiative. In a such program held at the State capital, Mr. Sanil Kumar joined hands with the District Administration of Trivandrum to support the Chief Minister to provide ‘Home for the Homeless‘. He constructed a house for a family of 32 members living in a single room near Bheemapally, a house with all amenities.

Sanil Kumar in being desirous to represent many charitable and social organizations that he is a member. Social issues and responsibilities are very close to his heart namely Empowerment of Women, AIDS Awareness and Revival of Handloom

Sector & Products. He has roped in his well-wishers and friends in the Film Fraternity to work for NGO’s and Government undertakings as Goodwill Ambassadors so as to be a face and a voice for a cause in the society. He also works against Noise pollution awareness along with IMA and Safe Traffic Regulations along with the State Police Department.
